Eagle Mountain City is a master-planned community that is located 40 miles southwest of Salt Lake City and 30 miles northwest of Provo, Utah at the western base of the Lake Mountains. The historic Pony Express Trail runs though the city.
Since its incorporation in December 1996, the city’s population has grown from 250 residents to a projected 40,000 by the end of 2018, becoming one of the state’s fastest growing communities. We are the third largest city geographically in the state of Utah.
The three major roads running into Eagle Mountain are Utah State Route 73, which runs through the northern part of the city and along its western edge into Cedar Fort, Eagle Mountain Blvd which goes straight to city center, and Pony Express Pkwy, which was extended east to Redwood road in Saratoga Springs in 2010.
